Hi, I'm Iza - the hands behind the Magic Chisel. I studied graphic techniques, but it was linocut that really pulled me in. There is something about the peaceful process of carving and the magic of the final print that just stuck

I'm inspired by dark fantasy films like Dark Crystal and Fire and Ice, old romantic art, Pre-Raphaelite moods, Art nouveau swirls, and anything with a vintage soul. I carve moody little worlds full of detail, texture, and a bit of quiet mystery.
